The proposed project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to construct a 0.11 million gallons per day (MGD) Groundwater Treatment Plant, as further defined in the Contract Documents. The scope includes demolition of existing infrastructure and modifications to Wells No. 1 and No. 3. The project addresses non-compliance issues related to arsenic, manganese, and iron concentrations in the Coarsegold Elementary Water System by implementing a manganese dioxide filtration system, a proven technology for the removal of these constituents. The treatment plant is designed in accordance with industry standards and engineering best practices to achieve a useful life of no less than 35 years, supporting long-term performance, regulatory compliance, and protection of public health.
